Ensure your advertising campaigns are set up for success

The Advertising and Media Executive Apprenticeship is a programme where employees are responsible for supporting the creation of the advertisement or campaign and responsible for supporting the distribution of the advertisement or campaign. 

There are two specific pathways:   

Creative pathway: Assisting creative producers in developing campaigns in line with brief and client’s needs.  Understanding and integrating the client’s needs and business goals into the campaign.  Develop, build and maintain relationships with the client. 

Media pathway:  Support the client in delivering campaigns in the right place to meeting their business needs. Measure the success of a campaign by reporting on media metrics. 

Who is it for

This programme is suitable for an organisation looking to fill an entry-level or up-skill role within their marketing team. Your Advertising and Media Apprentice will contribute to the whole process of a campaign, from contribution through to execution and measuring the effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • IPA Foundation Certificate
  • IPA Commercial Certificate (for IPA members only)
  • Advertising & Media Executive Level 3 Apprenticeship

Eligibility for the Advertising and Media apprenticeship

Apprentices must meet the following criteria:

  • To be at least 16 years old
  • Have English and Maths GCSEs at grade C (4) or above
  • The right to live and work in England
  • To be able to commit to a full-time job plus the apprenticeship training
  • To not hold a prior advertising or media qualification at level 3 or higher
