Accounting Technician

Accounting Technicians are a fundamental part of your business. They carry out a range of practical tasks and financial work which managers use to make key decisions. On this apprenticeship, your apprentice will have responsibility for creating/verifying and reviewing accurate and timely financial information within the organisation. Your apprentice will lead the analysis of accounts, reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements.

This programme is meant to fill a mid-level finance role for your organisation. Your Accounting Technician Apprentice will push your finance team to next level and improve the teams’ overall financial performance.

Eligibility for the Accounting Technician apprenticeship

Apprentices must meet the following criteria:

  • To be at least 16 years old
  • Have English and Maths GCSEs at grade C (4) or above
  • The right to live and work in England
  • To be able to commit to a full-time job plus the apprenticeship training
  • To not hold a prior finance (or similar) qualification at level 4 or higher
